Chinese Massage Dubai

Authentic Chinese Massage in Dubai, Delivered to Your Door

Chinese massage is not a lighter version of a spa massage. It is a therapeutic system built on Tui Na and acupressure, developed over centuries within Traditional Chinese Medicine to move stagnation, release tight muscle groups and restore circulation along the meridian lines of the body. Where a Swedish massage is designed mainly to relax you, a Chinese massage is designed to change how your body feels afterwards.

Our DHA-licensed therapists bring the full session to your home, hotel or office anywhere in Dubai, 24 hours a day. You get a professional treatment table, clean linen, warm oils where appropriate, and a therapist trained specifically in Chinese technique rather than someone improvising it between other treatments.

What Is Tui Na?

Tui Na (pronounced twee-nah) takes its name from its two core movements: tui, to push, and na, to grasp. It is the hands-on branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, sitting alongside acupuncture and herbal medicine, and in China it is used inside hospitals as a clinical treatment rather than purely as relaxation.

A Tui Na therapist works along meridians and specific acupressure points using rolling, kneading, pressing, thumb work and joint mobilisation. The pressure is firm and purposeful. Sessions often focus on one problem area, such as a locked shoulder or lower back, rather than treating the whole body evenly.

The techniques you will feel in a session

  • Acupressure — sustained thumb or finger pressure on specific points to release tension and stimulate circulation.
  • Rolling (gun fa) — a rhythmic rolling motion with the back of the hand, used to warm large muscle groups before deeper work.
  • Kneading (rou fa) — circular pressure that softens knots without the sharp discomfort of pure deep tissue work.
  • Pressing and grasping — direct compression along the shoulders, neck and spine to break up long-held tightness.
  • Joint mobilisation — gentle passive movement to restore range in stiff shoulders, hips and the neck.

Who Chinese Massage Helps Most

This treatment suits people with a specific complaint rather than those who simply want an hour of quiet. It is particularly effective for:

  • Desk and laptop posture — the neck, upper trapezius and between-the-shoulder-blade tightness that builds through a Dubai office week.
  • Chronic lower back tension — including the stiffness that comes from long commutes and long-haul flights.
  • Frozen or restricted shoulder — where mobilisation matters as much as soft tissue work.
  • Sciatic-type discomfort — glute and piriformis work to relieve referred pain down the leg.
  • Poor sleep and mental fatigue — acupressure at the head, neck and feet calms an overactive nervous system.
  • Sluggish circulation — cold hands and feet, heaviness in the legs, general low energy.

Chinese Massage Compared With Other Treatments

Treatment Pressure Best for Oil used
Chinese (Tui Na) Firm, targeted A specific problem area, stiffness, circulation Minimal or none
Thai massage Firm, with stretching Flexibility and full-body mobility None
Deep tissue Very firm, slow Deep muscular knots and adhesions Yes
Swedish Light to medium Relaxation and stress relief Yes
Reflexology Firm, feet only Whole-body balance through foot points Light

If you are unsure which is right for you, tell us the problem rather than the treatment name when you book. Our therapists will recommend the appropriate session, and often that is a combination — Tui Na through the shoulders followed by back work, for example.

What Happens During Your Session

  1. Booking — message us on WhatsApp with your area and preferred time. We confirm the therapist and arrival window.
  2. Arrival — your therapist arrives with a professional table, fresh linen and everything needed. Setup takes around five minutes.
  3. Short consultation — two or three minutes on where the pain or tension sits, previous injuries, and pressure preference.
  4. Treatment — 60, 90 or 120 minutes of focused work. You remain clothed in loose garments for traditional Tui Na, or draped with towels if oil is used.
  5. Aftercare — simple guidance on hydration, heat and any stretches that will hold the result for longer.

Pricing

Duration Price
60 minutes AED 350
90 minutes AED 499
120 minutes AED 620

The price you are quoted is the price you pay. There is no call-out fee, no charge for table setup and no upselling once the therapist is in your home. First-time clients can see current promotions on our offers and packages page.

For a genuinely therapeutic session with a licensed therapist, 90 minutes is usually the better value — it allows proper time on the problem area rather than a rushed pass over the whole body.

Is Chinese Massage Safe For You?

Tui Na is firm work, and it is not appropriate for everyone. Please tell us before booking if any of the following apply:

  • You are pregnant — book prenatal massage instead, which uses safe positioning and pressure.
  • You have a fracture, recent surgery, severe osteoporosis or open wounds in the area.
  • You are taking blood thinners or bruise very easily.
  • You have deep vein thrombosis, uncontrolled high blood pressure or an active infection.
  • You are receiving treatment for cancer — get clearance from your doctor first.

Mild soreness for a day after a Tui Na session is normal, in the same way it is after a firm sports massage. Sharp pain during a session is not — tell your therapist immediately and the pressure will be adjusted.

Areas We Cover

Our therapists reach every part of Dubai, typically within 45 to 60 minutes of booking, including Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Deira and Bur Dubai. See the full list of areas we serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Chinese massage painful?

It is firm but should never be painful. Tui Na works at a pressure where you feel the release without tensing against it. If you tense up the treatment stops being effective, so tell your therapist and the pressure will be adjusted immediately.

Do I need to undress for a Chinese massage?

Not necessarily. Traditional Tui Na is performed through loose, comfortable clothing. If you prefer an oil-based session you will be professionally draped with towels throughout, exactly as with any other treatment.

How is Chinese massage different from Thai massage?

Both are firm and both are performed clothed, but Thai massage centres on assisted stretching and moving your body through positions. Chinese Tui Na stays focused on pressure, kneading and acupressure points, usually concentrated on one problem area.

How often should I book?

For a specific complaint such as a stiff shoulder, weekly sessions for three to four weeks produce the clearest results. For general maintenance and stress, once or twice a month is enough.

Can I book a Chinese massage late at night?

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week across Dubai, including late-night and early-morning appointments for shift workers and travellers adjusting to a new time zone.

Are your therapists licensed?

Yes. Every therapist we send is DHA-licensed and professionally trained. You are welcome to ask to see the licence on arrival.
